 Norvyrex | Hip-pop/rap Artist

Norvyrex, born Isaac Opoku (20th October 2001), is a Ghanaian hip-hop/rap artist based in London. Born and raised in Nkawkaw, Ghana, his identity is deeply rooted in culture, resilience, and real-life experience.

Coming from a strong Ghanaian background, Norvyrex represents both sides of his heritage. His mother, Kate Yohuno, is from the Krobo tribe in Nkawkaw, while his father, Richard Kwasi Opoku, is Ashanti Akan from Kumasi, currently living in the UK. This blend of cultural identity plays a strong role in shaping his perspective and storytelling.

He officially began his music journey in early 2025, driven by personal life experiences that pushed him to express his truth. Music became more than sound — it became his outlet, his therapy, and his voice to the world.

Norvyrex’s passion is to use his experiences to encourage anyone facing difficulties or thinking about giving up on life. His music speaks about struggle, growth, ambition, and purpose. He believes that pain can be transformed into power, and every setback can become a lesson.

His debut single, Life Is a War, was released on 10th February 2026, marking the beginning of his professional journey. The record reflects his mindset — life is challenging, but with resilience and belief, you can lead your own fight.

Blending Ghanaian roots with the modern London hip-hop sound, Norvyrex delivers sharp lyricism and authentic storytelling. His mission is clear:

Real stories. Real emotion. Real impact.
